Missionary Kids from Ethiopia, Burundi, Kenya and Tanzania met in Mombassa,Kenya for four days of fun and fellowship.   After long days of playing in the pool, splashing in the surf and learing about Jesus, they made a presentaiton for their parents. 

]]>Church In The Bushhttp://tanzamania.org/mk-corner/2007/3/27/church-in-the-bush.htmlNick Stuva2007-03-27T06:24:02Z2007-03-27T06:24:02ZKids Cooking.jpgBeing a missionary kids is a big responsibility.  Usually it means you have to travel with your parents to keep then from getting in trouble.  Whenever there is a big trip planned you have to make sure everything gets packed, that you get your parents to the church on time and even make sure lunch gets cooked properly.  Who new that being a missionary kid took so much work?  Showing proper respect with Shikamoo  always makes sure that things go smoothly with the adults.  We are just not sure how our parents would do it here in Tanzania with out us! It just goes

Since the holidays were so hectic, there was not that much time to celebrate Lexxi's birthday.  So, when we finally got a good chance, we decided to invite 12 little girls to Bongoyo Island to throw Lexxi's birthday.  That God that we had a beautiful day.  Every one got lathered up with sunblock and boarded a boat that took us on 45 minute trip to the island.  We had a great time playing games and going on a real live treasure hunt.  After lunch, and cupcakes we headed back to the mainland for ice cream and presents.  View all the pictures here! A few weeks ago, Heaven of Peace Academy(HOPAC), a school dedicated to providing education to missionary kids, held its annual Nations Day.  There are over 30 nations represented at the school.  All nations gathered under one roof for a parade, cultural songs and celebration of the diversity that God created in us.  After the assembly, each nation set up a booth featuring foods, information and pictures of their country.  It was an excellent day for exploring new cultures and sharing of our own.  Lexxi, Mickinzie, Megan and Ethan all showed their true colors during the parade.
