Quick Trip to Tanzania

This last week I had the opportunity to return to Tanzania to participate in teaching at a missions training conference for leaders from across East Africa. It was a whirlwind of a trip as I was only on the ground for 72 hours and spent over 50 traveling to get there. There were over 60 delegates from several different countries. It was a wonderful time of seeking God's direction and being equipped to send African missionaries to the least reached people of the world. God continues to stir the hearts of the church in Africa to be involved in His mission to make Christ known amongst all people.

The church in Tanzania made some exciting commitments to be more seriously involved in missions. Over the last 4 years there has been a tremendous increase in the amount of participation and giving to missions but we are still far short of our potential. The leaders of the church recommitted themselves to the task of mobilizing greater participation from our local churches across Tanzania.

Please pray with us that God will continue to stir the hearts of our church to deeper involvement with missions.
