She was in the hospital for about 4 1/2 hours most of which was prep and recovery time. The doctor was pleased with the operation. It was a whirlwind of a trip as I was only on the ground for 72 hours and spent over 50 traveling to get there. There were over 60 delegates from several different countries. It was a wonderful time of seeking God's direction and being equipped to send African missionaries to the least reached people of the world. God continues to stir the hearts of the church in Africa to be involved in His mission to make Christ known amongst all people.

The church in Tanzania made some exciting commitments to be more seriously involved in missions. Over the last 4 years there has been a tremendous increase in the amount of participation and giving to missions but we are still far short of our potential. The leaders of the church recommitted themselves to the task of mobilizing greater participation from our local churches across Tanzania.

Please pray with us that God will continue to stir the hearts of our church to deeper involvement with missions.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://tanzamania.org/news/2008/1/10/updates-and-prayer-request.html"><rss:title>Updates and Prayer Request</rss:title><rss:link>http://tanzamania.org/news/2008/1/10/updates-and-prayer-request.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

We have a had a flurry of updates on the site recently, and that is something to smile about. Check out new updates in our team members section and Africa Oasis Project section. Four years ago we started with a goal to start churches in 210 of the least reached places in Tanzania. Our goal was to partner with the Tanzania Assemblies of God to reach every corner of the country. Since it's inception, by God's grace we have reached 160 of those 210 places. We have 50 more places targeted to reach. Pray with us . . . Pray that God will raise up pioneer workers to go into these difficult places to take Christ to those who don't have the option to know him. Pray that God will raise up Tanzanian local churches to support these pioneer pastors. Pray that God will help us find partners in the States who will invest $5400 per church plant to buy plots, send the pastors to Bible school and to build a small church building.

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://tanzamania.org/news/2007/7/13/missions-in-mississippi.html"><rss:title>Missions in Mississippi</rss:title><rss:link>http://tanzamania.org/news/2007/7/13/missions-in-mississippi.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

Nick Stuva has taken on mountains, broken alternators and finger sized dried fish for the name of Jesus. Can he handle the next challenge?

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://tanzamania.org/news/2007/5/24/ron-hanson-in-darfur.html"><rss:title>Ron Hanson In Darfur</rss:title><rss:link>http://tanzamania.org/news/2007/5/24/ron-hanson-in-darfur.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>

Ron Hanson recently took a AOP Water survey trip to the troubled Darfur region of Sudan. View his picture gallery here: find out how to help Sudan and other areas in need of water on the AOP page.

</rss:item></rdf:RDF>
