Mike and Kari and family have ministered in the country of Tanzania with an emphasis on children's ministry since 1997. Their ministry can be summed up in this short mission statement. "Reaching Tanzania's next generation....one child at a time." In carrying out that mission they have been actively involved in children's evangelism and dsicipleship as well as training of children's workers and curriculum development. Working together with local Tanzanian churches they are reaching children through traditional ministries such as Sunday School and children's church as well as taking advantage of unique opportunities through assemblies and religious education classes in the public schools. When asked about the importance of children's ministries they have this to say, "We believe that working together, we can make a difference in the next generation of Tanzania, that we can change the face of a nation by reaching its children."
